LED is the fourth-generation light source after incandescent, fluorescent, and high-pressure gas lamp, which is known as the new light source in the 21st century. Compared with the sodium lamp, LED light source has the following basic features:

High Luminous Efficiency
After decades of technical improvements, the luminous efficiency of LED has been greatly improved. The light efficiency of incandescent and halogen is 12-24 lumens/watt, fluorescent is 50-70 lumens/watt, sodium lamp is 90-140 lumens/watt, most of  the power has turned into the heat loss. The luminous efficiency of LED is up to 50-200 lumens/watt after improvements, its monochromatic city is good, light spectrum is narrow, it can directly give off visible light without filtrations.

Low power consumption
The power consumption of LED lamps is only 40% of that of conventional lamps.

Long service life
For the radiation laminas cense of electronic light field, it has shortcomings, such as the filament light is easy to burn, thermal deposition, and optical attenuation. The LED light is of small size, light weight, coated with epoxy, can withstand the high strength mechanical shock and vibration, and not easy to break. The average service life is 0.1 million hours. The life of LED lamps is up to 10 years or more, so it can significantly reduce the lamp maintenance costs, and avoid frequent changes of lights.

Safety and reliability
Low heat, non-thermal radiation, cold light source, can be safely touched, can accurately control the light pattern and the angle of light-emitting, soft light-color, non-glare; do not contain mercury, sodium and other potential hazardous substances. Built-in micro-processing system can control the luminous intensity, adjust the light-emitting mode, and achieve the combination of light and art.

LED is the total solid light, shock-proof, impact resistant, not easy to break, waste recycling, and no pollution.
